Ms. Jesseca's musical journey began in Mississippi, in her hometown of West Point, where her passion for writing poetry evolved into a therapeutic outlet. She honed her singing skills within the embrace of family, church, and school choirs, then ventured into acting as a teenager and recorded her first rap at 16 upon moving to Jackson. After high school, Ms. Jesseca immersed herself in the Jackson music scene as a backup singer and songwriter for local blues and southern soul artists. Then, in 2011, she emerged as a solo rap artist and has earned over three million independent streams as of today.
